World Happiness Day 😊


Every year, March 20th is celebrated as World Happiness Day, which focuses on and emphasizes Happiness that is being experienced by individuals. It is a reminder to prioritize happiness, joy, and well-being in our lives and communities. This day encourages us to openly cultivate our happiness and make sure that we can practice happiness. It has been noted that a lot of people tend to suffer from sadness and tend to go through various mental health problems like depression in their lives. Because of this, there is a need to emphasize happiness, especially in these people's lives, because such individuals tend to need happiness more than others.

It should be taken into account that governments around the world should make sure that happiness is a fundamental right for each living in their respective nations and the pursuit of happiness for each individual shall be relentless. Happiness can be created among different individuals by addressing various types of issues that tend to exist around the world, like poverty, equality, environmental sustainability, etc. 


Similarly, there are various ways through which one can cultivate one's own happiness. One of the ways is to express gratitude for what we are experiencing in our lives and whatever we have right now. It also involves being thankful and praying to god for giving us a good and healthy life. The second one is thinking in a more optimistic manner as well as seeing the situation more positively. If something bad happens, we must see the situation more positively and see what life has taught us. The third one involves practicing mindfulness to make sure that we can make ourselves more calm and peaceful in any kind of situation. This practice has been recognized by the scientific community as one of the most effective practices for maintaining the mental health of an individual. The fourth one and the last one involve sharing things with others. Sometimes, the knowledge that we tend to possess is more and the more knowledge we tend to give others, the more we tend to learn (Choudhary I., 2022).  


So, through these ways, we can increase our happiness levels thereby improving our mental health.
