Why Anime is a Stress Buster?



There is something about anime that has always intrigued me ever since I joined this community. Some people call anime simply a cartoon that is a waste of time. This blog would be a personal opinion. As someone who watched animated films for as long as I can remember, anime is something that grabbed my attention when I was 13. It was not the fact that it was made by Japanese artists but the whole reason that the stories that they created feel so real.


As a college student, anime is like a reality to me, the reason is that tons of stress does make you feel that one should have a fictional reality and that it should be anime (not saying that it should be your only option). Many research articles say that one should watch different anime series based on what they are feeling because these series are designed specifically for a particular mood.


When I say mood I mean the storyline and the music incorporated in the series. Some series use upbeat music that makes you feel good, some use calm and emotional music to make you feel emotional. Yes, even the music in the series matters too. If you come to think about it, anime gives life lessons too. Many adults watch anime. The reason is that it helps them create a reality that provides them with the comfort that they wish to get to forget their stressful life for a while. Believe it or not, anime can help change your perspective.
