One Fateful Day

Do we take life for granted or do we just not care?

Does fate punish us for our ignorance?

Is it true that ignorance is death?

One tragedy can change everything,

Changes the way I looked at life

Knowledge came from the ignorance of the obvious

Ignorance has destroyed lives,

Trampled over justice

Trampled over what is a good deed

Countless turned to violence,

As the only option remained

Screams resonating throughout the atmosphere

The unaware stood their ground as the horde charged at them with force,

Unable to fight they gave in & lost the battle

Several rose to power but none could hold the reins

As millions watched on, the war became intense,

The armies clashed with each other to fight for what's right

There wasn't a day when the armies rested their ego

The innocent who was punished for a sin he didn't commit,

Faced judgement by his creator

As he asked, "why me?"

The creator says "sins will be washed out by the morning sun, fight on dear child"

The morning sun comes, the sins are washed away

For the battle is far from over

Now the armies can rest knowing that they got what they needed - the sword crafted from the fire of justice.
